Ph.D of law
A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also completed Postgraduate Studies in Commercial Law and also European Law at the University of Gdańsk, as well as Postgraduate Studies in Copyright Law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Legal advisor since 1994. Inscribed on the list of advocates since May 2005.
He gained professional experience providing legal services to many different entities and individuals. He started his professional career at one of the largest Polish banks. In later years, he managed the legal service department, including in Polskie Linie Oceaniczne SA in Gdynia, Stocznia Północna SA in Gdańsk (currently Remontowa Shipbuilding SA), Stocznia Marynarki Wojennej SA in Gdynia (currently PGZ Stocznia Wojenna Sp.z o.o.). He provided legal services to local government units and the Regional Water Management Board in Gdańsk. He was a member of supervisory boards under the National Investment Funds program.
Author of several dozen publications in the field of civil law, including banking and , commercial law. He also published several book among them (‘Pledgee’s situation in Polish law’, Toruń 2010, ‘Banking law. Commentary’, Warsaw 2015). Co-author of commentary on the codes: “Civil Code. Commentary”, Warsaw 2013, 2014, 2019 “Code of Civil Procedure. Commentary”, Sopot 2017. Assistant professor at the Department of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Lecturer at the Gdańsk Academy of Banking, WSB University in Gdańsk and Toruń.
Specialization – civil and commercial law, including contract and contract frameworks, corporate and banking law, company law, intellectual property rights and new technologies. As a advocate , he has the power to conduct all cases before common courts in Poland, as well as before the Supreme Court, administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court, the Constitutional Tribunal and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and also the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxemburg.
